My wife and I are going thru a separation. I have done counseling, introspection, and most importantly prayer.

Our relationship was toxic cause we didnt focus on each other and a lot of resentment has taken over. I am changing who I am thru hard work the path God has layed out before me. He has opened my eyes on how low I have fallen.

My wife is unable or unwilling to accept the change. I talked to her and told her what changes I'm working on and what I'm doing it. She said she wished I realized this a year ago and that she isnt sure if she will give me a chance.

I ask for a prayer to open my wife's heart, to ability to forgive each other for our transgressions, and to fill our household with love.

Lord please help me in time of need. I know in the end this is all your will and you will lead me on the path that you have chosen for me. Please forgive me for the way I have acted and the way I treated my wife. I have forgiven her and want to uphold the vows that we made to you to spend the rest of our lives together.

We have treated each other horribly and have not taken our vows seriously. I have forgiven her and please open her heart so she may forgive me. Her heart is surrounded by a wall that only you can break down. For nothing is impossible with God.

Please grant me the strength to continue on, the knowledge to act, and the faith to keep going.
