Dave's colonoscopy today revealed NO polyps, NO cancer. Internal hemorrhoids, as we had hoped, were the cause of the bleeding. The only piece left to figure out is the swollen lymph node. The doctors have found no cause for it. They will probably do a biopsy on the node itself since it is so enlarged. We are waiting to hear from them once they receive the colonoscopy results. We feel like the worst part is over. Dave feels much less anxious. Thank you ALL for the prayers. We serve an awesome God. Jeanne

Hi everyone! We saw the specialist today who read Dave's PET scan results and showed us from the disk what we are looking at. Amazing technology. ( They could, and probably do, use that very same disk to scare the next couple! ) Seriously, he has a swollen lymph node in his groin and they are calling it very suspicious. They ordered up the colonoscopy for Friday now instead of the March 10th date. He starts his preliminary preparation today. He will be "eliminating" all day. I am going to work! Our sons are home since it is a supt. conference day in their school district. I love that he is not alone! Then I took off work tomorrow to take him to the colonoscopy appt. They will biopsy the lymph node if necessary once the results of the colonoscopy are revealed. He remains very anxious. Obviously, by the time of this e-mail, I can't sleep myself either! We'll keep you posted. Dave has been amazingly grateful for the prayers! God bless you all! Jeanne

Lord I pray for Dave, please heal him Lord. Jesus, you are the greatest doctor in the whole world. Only you Lord can heal completely, may your will be done in Dave's life Lord. I also pray for his wife Lord, give her strength, peace and courage so she can be by his side while he gets the test done and gets the results. I pray this in your precious name Jesus, Amen.

Lord put your healing hands over Dave and may he feel your presence at this time. Take all anxieties that he and Jeanne may be feeling away. May they know beyond any doubt that you have everything under control and give them peace. May this bring them closer to you and to each other, and may they not forget to give You the Honor and the Glory for your love toward them. Have all tests come back negative Lord for we know that nothing is impossible for you. May it be done for Your Honor and Glory Heavenly Father, I ask and I thank you in Jesus Christ Precious Name, Amen! Warrior

Lord, please bring healing to Dave, and peace to him and Jeanne. Please bring Your peace and calmness to the situation, and let them i pray find nothing, or whatever it is to be healed. Lord, i pray this whole situation will draw him close to Christ, and thank You that he asking for YOur help, You said "a broken and contrite spirit, these You will not despise". You are our Healer, our Hope, Our God and Our Salvation, so i pray that dave will believe it, and know it, and see Your hand on him right now Lord, in Jesus Name, amen

Please pray for my husband Dave who on Saturday Feb. 14th he had a bowel movement and there was a lot of blood in the toilet. He had another one later that night and the blood was still there. We went to the emergency room. They did a cat scan, told us it was all clear, no problems. They also found internal hemorrhoids and thought that was more than likely the cause of the bleeding, but told us to set up a colonoscopy appointment in the near future. After 6 hours in the Emergency room, we went home somewhat relieved. Then the hospital phoned us Tuesday Feb. 17th morning to tell us that the cat scan was reviewed by the specialist and they are concerned about "spots". They told us nothing else except to see our family doctor and they would forward the results. We went in right away yesterday and the family doctor told us that the cat scan had also revealed the lower part of his lungs and that is where the small spots were. So, he ordered a full chest/lungs cat scan which will be done tomorrow afternoon. He also has a preliminary colonoscopy appointment for Friday. Dave is awful scared, and being a man's man, doesn't ask for prayers for himself very often. He is asking now. Also pray for me for God to keep me calm and give me the strength to see us through this.
Thank you for your prayers,
Jeanne
