My Last Update:

Bonny is making her last stand. More than 3 months into this job the going gets tougher. Bonny can no longer ingest food during lunch and have little sleep. Obviously she is in poor health. But her performances and loyalty to her superior never diminished, saying that she is working for Jesus not for anyone else.

Her boss never fire people but seems like a private talk with Bonny hinted that her boss may have to make a choice whether to keep Bonny or fire the perpetrators involved in her abuses. Bonny's performances, by the Grace of the Lord has been more than exemplary. Her integrity as a Christian has obviously shined brightly. It is obvious now that Bonny's presence in her Boss's eyes is irreplaceable. Glory be to God.

Please pray that God's will be clear to Bonny because she is emotionally and spiritually drained. Whether to leave or stay isn't important anymore, but that Bonny does the will of God and that He continues to protect her from further abuses and direct her to make a final right move.

Bonny I pray for you. You cannot nor shall you continue to endure this abuse. God is with you who can be against you. Greater is God in you than he that is in the world. That being said, document document and document everything. Record if you can. You have told your boss. Go to him/her everyday with whatever you endure.

Father, I ask in Jesus Holy Name that you will surround this sister with Your hedge of protection. Give her a peace that passes all understanding. Father, I pray that doors for her will open and the evil that surrounds her at this time will understand the meaning of "Touch not mine anointed."
Father, meet every need that she may have in her life. I pray that all that is being done in the dark will come to the light about those that are harrassing her. I thank you Father for hearing this prayer. Amen!

THIS IS MY LEGAL ADVICE...

Being Harassed? Nine Ways Your Employer Might Be Liable And What To Do

1: Discriminatory Harassment

Harassment due to race, age, sex, religion, national origin, color, disability, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information is illegal. If you're being subjected to comments or insults based on one of these categories, it's possibly unlawful harassment. If you're being singled out for treatment different than others in a different category (e.g., you're male and the women are treated more favorably) then you might have a harassment claim.

2: Domestic Violence Leave

If your Florida employer has 50 or more employees, they have to grant employees leave to deal with domestic violence issues. Some counties have ordinances regarding smaller employers. The employer can't harass or retaliate against employees for taking domestic violence leave.

3: Objecting to Illegal Activity

The employer can't harass an employee who objects to or refuses to participate in illegal activity of the employer (not just a co-worker, but something the company does). The activity has to be a violation of a law, government regulation or ordinance. Objections to unethical or inappropriate activity is not protected. Objections to discrimination, failure to pay wages, securities or medicaid fraud, and other illegal activity are covered.

4: Family and Medical Leave

You can't be harassed for taking Family and Medical Leave. The employer has to have 50 or more employees and you had to be employed at least a year to qualify. The employer has to restore you to the same or equivalent position on your return. You get up to 12 weeks of leave. If you take 12 weeks and 1 day, the employer does not have to return you to the same position.

5: Worker's Compensation Claim

You can't be fired for making a worker's compensation claim.

6: Testimony Under Subpoena

Your employer cannot retaliate against you because you needed to miss work to testify under subpoena, or because of the content of your testimony under subpoena.

7: Having a Firearm In Your Vehicle

Employers in Florida can’t prohibit employees from having firearms locked in their non-company vehicles, or take any action against an employee based on statements that they have firearms in their vehicle. The employer has to wait until you exhibit the firearm on company property. So don't wave the gun around or show your friends. Keep it locked in the car.

8: Other Protected Activity

If you engage in activity that is protected by statute, you are usually protected from being retaliated against. You'll need to understand your rights under each statute or ordinance.

9: What's Not Illegal Harassment

If your boss is just a jerk or abusive, that is not illegal. And many small employers are not covered by these laws, so you may not be protected at all. Many employees have the mistaken belief that, if they are being harassed by their employer, a supervisor, or a co-worker or they are in a "hostile work environment" that they automatically have a claim against the employer. This is simply not the case.

10: If You're Being Subjected to Illegal Harassment, Don't Just Quit. Report It To HR Or a Supervisor

One thing that I hear way too much of is, “I was harassed, so I quit and then I told them why.” This is a frequent mistake. The United States Supreme Court says that, where an employer has a published sexual harassment/discriminatory harassment policy, the employee must report it under that policy and give the employer the opportunity to fix the situation. Appropriate remedies may be to discipline or warn the harasser, to move the harasser, under some circumstances to move the victim, to do training, or in extreme cases, to terminate the harasser. If you did not avail yourself of the employer’s policy before quitting, you are likely giving up your right to sue for a violation.

11: Don't Refuse to Go Back to Work

Many employees simply refuse to go back to work, even where the employer has warned or disciplined the harasser. Sometimes, the fear is justified. But it is the employer’s duty to create a safe workplace. If you return and are retaliated against or continue to be harassed, report it again. If the employer allows retaliation or continued harassment, that is the time to get an attorney involved.

12: What To Put In Your Formal Complaint of Unlawful Harassment

General harassment, hostile environment, bullying, and other disruptive behavior that is not addressed to an employee for a protected status or activity is not illegal. So before you write the long letter airing all your grievances against your boss, you may want to have an attorney look at it, or just make sure you are addressing your protected status. If you do complain, put it in writing and call it, “FORMAL COMPLAINT OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT,” or “FORMAL COMPLAINT OF RACIAL HARASSMENT” or whatever category you fit into. Set forth the harassment due to your protected status, and be businesslike. This is not the time to air all your complaints about the business or your boss, only to air the specific complaint about the illegal behavior. While a long letter stating that your supervisor is incompetent or a jerk can and should get you fired, the formal complaint addressing illegal behavior should get a serious response.

13: Know Your Rights and Responsibilities

If you are harassed or are in a hostile work environment, make sure you understand your rights and responsibilities. Report it to the employer and give them a chance to address the situation. If they allow the harassment to continue, or if they retaliate, contact an attorney to discuss your legal options.

* I would like to thank all of you whose prayers have made a definitive impact on her to this day: a word of gratitude to all our bros and sis who are so persistent and patient.*

Latest update.

Convinced by her Christian friends she reported and exposed these unwanted activities to her boss after having made a decision to resign. It is just an obligation to tell the truth as an employee before leaving.

In a turn of events, all perpetrators are rooted out and disciplined. Bonny's boss is grateful of her bravery and honesty and insisted she must stay to serve her regardless of Bonny's plead to be let go. Who wouldn't like a person that exhibit the fruits of the Holy Spirit ?! Only those who are possessed by satan would wage war against Christians.

Now after rattling the hornet's nest, these perpetrators are forming an alliance for a subtle retaliation against Bonny. Deprived from sleep and depression setting in from these onslaughts, she is living in constant fear. She still has work to do as revealed through the Holy Spirit. She chooses to stay until her work is completed. There is no greater fear than to fear God!

Please CONTINUE to pray for her well being, pray for the Lord's providing her a way to escape, pray for her faith not to waiver, pray for the spirit of fear in her to be gone in the name of Jesus!

Bless
The promises of God are real and his faithfulness will never fail us. We have nothing to fear as believers because the power of God is always with us.
You can have the peace that surpasses understanding if you will keep your eyes on Christ instead of your problems. There is nothing that is impossible for him. He cannot fail you because it was by his great love that he created you. He overcame death and left us a promise that he would always be with us. Jesus will make a way through the mountain of your problems because his perfect plan for your life cannot be stopped. Remember, the love of Christ will always defeat your enemies and keep you in his perfect peace.
Jesus said in John 10:10, “I have come that you may have life, and have it abundantly”. Jesus never promised that we would not have problems. He promised that despite our struggles, he would still be able to give us peace and joy in the midst of them and to those who endure, blessings for having gone through them. There is not a circumstance in your life that Christ cannot turn and use for your good. It doesn’t matter what pain, addiction, illness, financial problem or relationship heartache that you are going through, the power of Christ can and will take you through it.

Bonny has been reading this thread and others and there is a hint through revelation that is revealed to her today by the Lord. She thinks it is time to hand her employer a letter of resignation. She hasn't slept for days and her health and sanity are deteriorating rapidly. Here is the challenge, she is scared stiff. Her boss is a very powerful person in the community and her boss likes her very much. That's why there are so many attacks from her teammates. It is anticipated that her boss won't let her go easily just by downplaying the truth, for she wants to avoid pointing fingers. If Bonny tell the truth, more ruthless retaliation is expected. Even with a successful acceptance of resignation, she would still have to stay a while for a hand over.. This hand over period, sorry for my lack of better words, would be like hell on earth for Bonny.

I will stop with my or her presumptuous earthly rationals or predictions, God will provide a way when there seems to be no way. Amen.

She desperately need all your collective prayers in the followings:

Pray that the spirit of fear in her would be cast out in the name of Jesus ! She is really living in fear 24/7.
Pray that her faith would not waver despite the impossible challenges ahead
Pray that that she would be guided by the Holy Spirit but not other foul spirits that are trying to derail her.
Pray she is physically and mentally healed By His Wounds.
Pray that whatever happens in the next few days would be His will but not hers.

Bonny is reading this post and I believe she wants me to say a heartfelt thanks to all of you who
have been so persistent in prayers and providing uplifting words and scriptures that had kept her
going despite adversity.

Bless you all in the name of Jesus!

Father, I pray you would strengthen her, and keep her from all harm
Posted by layhoma - 10-03-2012 06:08 AM
Please continue to pray for Bonny. One can only take so much punishment and it is her will expressed to me on phone today to continue to endure this hardship until she hears clearly what God wants her to do, or to leave or otherwise. Jumping the wagon for her meant disrespectful to the Lord for it is He who put her in this place. In the meantime she is now taking sleeping pills and regiment of anti-anxiety meds trying to keep her depression at bay.

Please don't let the prayers stop.

Thank you all bro and sis in Christ!
