History tells us that the kingdom which overcame Greece was the kingdom of Rome.  And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

Daniel emphasized the feet and toes of iron and clay, not another separate kingdom. This mixture is symbolic of smaller nations coming after the collapse of Rome. And, these smaller nations would not cling together, just as iron and clay do not cling together. Over time, barbarians wore down the borders of Rome, and by A.D. 476 Rome was completely broken apart. Western Europe was divided into ten parts within the old boundaries of the Roman Empire. These were the Lombards, the Alemanni, the Anglo-Saxons, the Ostrogoths, the Brugundians, the Franks, the Suevi, the Vandals, the Visigoths, and the Heruli. This was the beginning of the modern nations of Europe; some strong, some weak. Seven of them still exist today in Europe. For example, the Anglo-Saxons became the English, the Franks became the French, the Alemannians became the Germans, and the Lombards became the Italians.

The prophecy said that these nations would not cling together. People have tried for centuries to unite Europe by different means. But, the prophecy says that these nations would not cling together.

Today there are many calls for a united Europe. The European Common Market, the common currency-Euro, all in an effort to unite Europe. But, politically, they will not cling together! Scripture says it, and God's Word always comes true.

However, there is a prophecy for uniting Europe, and the world, spiritually, in a counterfeit world kingdom. There is a church leader who plans to be the head of this New World Order. In the process of forming this New World Order, persecution will again be implemented to force the will of people. And, this will usher in the event of all ages, the second coming of Jesus Christ. This is the fifth kingdom described in Daniel 2. Dan 2:44 "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure."

Notice verse 44, where it says "in the days of these kings". In the days of the nations of Europe being partly iron and partly clay, Jesus will come. We are living in those days today! As we continue with Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, this will be made clear.

Yes, the whole of Europe and the world is breathing a sigh of relief today as the bailout party won--by 2%. However now they have to form a Govt. This has got to be a coalition--very difficult. Crucial talks in Athens today. Please pray.

GREEK ELECTIONS TODAY: These could plunge the world into a Depression. But the
Greek Soccer team shocked and defeated Russia yesterday and their best player had the same name as the bailout party New Democracy's leader. How amazing is that!

It seems that God is answering prayer and Greece will have a stable Govt at last. But we still need to pray--a great deal can go wrong yet!

Thank you so much for praying for Greece.
Great news this morning. I wish I could give you the link to Greek newspaper Ekathimeri but admin doesn't allow links to be posted.
However a brilliant article backgrounds the whole Greek situation and where Greece stands with Germany.
The best part is that a new Govt wd be given 100 days to implement the
conditions for the bailout. That puts a final crisis off for a further three
months! Thank You Lord!
Pray for God's choice to win the elections on Sunday.

I didn't know that about Italy. Spain is doing badly as well.
Pray for Europe!

Yes, I had a great day posting 595 Gospel tracts into letter boxes in 4 hours. Also put tracts in bus stop shelters and phone booths and handed three personally to three teenage girls who smiled and said Thank you. "Party Girl" is just the right tract for teenagers. Good clear Gospel for older people as well.

All Italy bank accounts has been frozen and still is and customers could not take their money out. What people really need to do around the world is to repent of their sins to our Father and make Jesus their Lord and Savior. God bless you Tractman for distributing all those tracts. Even you could get 1 person out of 100 I will count a blessing. Keep doing what you are doing and I will keep you in my prayer always.

In 5 days time Greece votes for a new Government.
If it chooses badly, Greece could crash, and take Europe down with it.
There would be worldwide Depression probably worse than the Great Depression.
The World Bank has been strongly warning abt this.
Please pray that God will again save the world from its own stupidity.
Lord Jesus, have mercy on all of us!

Greece holds its elections in one week's time.
It is a tremendous battle between right and left.
If the left win, Greece will reject the bailouts and may be thrown out of the EU.
This could cause the whole EU to collapse, and the world would be in the middle of another bad Recession.
Millions would lose their jobs.
Millions made homeless.

However, millions have been praying.
God is answering prayer.
Hard politicians and finance people are softening.
It's starting to look hopeful.
We need to keep praying.
But pray in HOPE, BELIEVING.
GOD is at work! answering PRAYER in the NAME of JESUS!

MASSIVE homelessness, no jobs, little money, no food.
This cd happen--worldwide--as soon as June 17.
Greece has a caretaker Govt until elections on June 17.
If it votes an anti-austerity Govt in, Greece will be thrown out of the Eurozone.
They will crash out of Europe, probably dragging Europe down with it.
Europe is the second biggest economy in the world.
If it crashes, probably the rest of the world will crash with it.

Please pray in the Name of JESUS that GOD will intervene and save our world.

Greece paid its debt in full. But failed to form a Govt.
There will be fresh elections and opinion polls say the Left Coalition will win.
They reject the loan structure agreed to by previous Greek Govts.
If they are elected on 17 June, expect a massive world-wide fall in stockmarkets.
A financial crash.

Pray that God will have mercy on our world.
