I guess it depends when that affection died and what had caused it. Love is complicated. It need norishment. And ability to love someone as a package-the person's value, personality and passion. Can anyone being showered with lots of affection and yet not be moved ? I believe it is possible to rekindle that passion inside someone but how much we are willing to put the effort and will we keep doing it even there is no reaction/response for a long period of time. If you love her, you will. And I am sure a woman of steel would be touched. Lord, I pray for passion in their life. A passion for something in common that they can share with you. A passion to love each other affectionately. I pray for softening of hearts. I pray that you take away any negativity and emotional hurt that steal this affection away. I pray for renewal of mind and spirit and I pray for restoration of their marriage. In Jesus Name, Amen!

My wife wants a divorce, I do not. We are a Christian family with two wonderful children. There are no biblical grounds for divorce but as with any marriage we have had problems. We are seeking Christian counseling. My wife has told me she has never loved me and should have never married me. Have all the loving things she told me over the years been lies? I am confused, hurt and scared. God hates divorce, can it be His will that this marriage ends? Divorce has never been an option for me. Please pray that God will heal our marriage, that my wife will fall in love with me (again?) that we will be an example to our children and others. I know God answers prayers in His time and His will. I pray His will is to heal this marriage.
