| I am worried for my foster children. These children are coming from a bad situation and the system that is suppose to protect them is not! It is so bad and our current social worker is working toward having these children go home. I brought up red flags from the visits as well as incidents and threats of violence that occurred in front of our original social worker. His answer was that preventive measures could not be taken and if the mother is in compliance, the babies go home. This is a woman who favors one child over the other and has lost one child to the system. She is mentally ill and now in control of herself because of meds. What happens when she stops taking her meds? Things are not being documented and I am worried sick over the fate of these children. I have brought my concerns to the agency and it seems as if they think I am over concerned but the original case worker was the one who was most fearful for the children and she couldn't tell me why. Please pray that she does not harm these children if or when they are returned. I have to leave this in God's hands now. I am so stressed over this and don't think I will foster again. Please keep my children in your prayers. |
