RE: Marriage in trouble

May God help you and Bless your marriage. We know how you feel as my husband also has depression. Do seek help from a counsellor(we are going to) and if your depression is treatable take the medication.

I am a psychiatric nurse but really struggle to live with a depressed husband and know that counselling is needed, and prayer over past hurts.

So don't give up but pray and suggest you and your wife go to counselling so that she knows you are serious about saving your marriage!

You are so lucky to have children. Do it for them too...and tell your wife I know how she feels but not to give up on God and you,,,as long as you are willing to seek help.

May God help you both and Bless your family.

RE: Marriage in trouble

Please join me in prayer for my marriage this weekend. Lord I pray that my wife Evelyn yield to your will for our marriage. I ask you lord to take away the hurt and anger, and resentment she feels in her heart and allow her heart to come back to me. I pray Lord that you make me the husband you want me to be, the husband she needs, the husband you talk about in the word. Lord I ask you to place a hedge of protection around both of us, Please lord work a miracle in my marriage, please keep my family together. I know you hate divorce and your will is for my mrrige to stand. I ask you lord to pour your blessings upon me, my wife, and my entire family. Lord please save my family, save my marriage. In Jesus name I pray, amen

I ask all to please join me in prayer this weekend for the restoration of my marriage. Your prayers help. Please stand with me.

RE: Marriage in trouble

Great is our God! We will continue to pray and agree that He will speak to your wife's heart. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Greater is He that is in you, than he who is in the world. Seek first His Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you. Refute the lies of the devil with God's word, just as Jesus did when He was tempted by Satan. For it is written...

And praise God that you are walking closer to God during this time. This situation has improved your relationship with Him, and the angels are singing! Let your entire life increase in intimacy with your relationship with Jesus! How He yearns for us to be close to Him!

"Surrounded by Your Glory what will my heart feel, will I dance for You Jesus, or in awe of You be still. Will I stand in Your presence or to my knees will I fall, will I sing Hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all..."

RE: Marriage in trouble

I am in the exact same situation. God has told me to be still and I have done exactly that. I have stopped trying to convince her and stopped jumping to conclusions. God showed me that the harder I tried, the worse it became and that acting on emotion only pushed her farther away. I pray that you recognize that and listen to what He is telling you, don't make the same mistakes I did and ignore His word. I pray that your pain is eased and that you accept the situation as it currently is until God reveals his plan. Trust in him, brother. Only He knows what the future holds. I will keep both you and your family in my prayers.

RE: Marriage in trouble

Today I am wrestling with giving her plenty of space ie, don't try and hug her, kiss her, be close, be around all the time, try and do everything for her. I'm even wondering if I'm in the way of God being able to work on her. Join me in prayer that I will do what God wants me to do and not cling to what I want and do things how I want, and please continue to stand with me fo rthe restoration of my marriage.
