Ok, first of all my name is Alex... I dont know who i am sending this to but i just wanted to let you know that i have done as much as i can to change...... Ive gone to church camp, i go to church as much as i can, i just have a problem... Ive always been too much of a coward to admit my addiction to pornography and masterbaition... You do not know how embarrassing this feels for me... I always ask God to help me with that problem and some other family problems but i do ok for.... Ummm, lets say a week, then it goes back to normal and i start my foolish ideas again... I always ask God to change me but i just dont feel or notice Any changes!! I just need help! What must i do for God to help me?!?!?! Im desperate! Please write back and thank you for your time!

There are recovery groups for this problem and some of them are Christian. Search the web for one in your area.

Loving Father, we know how difficult addictions are. Please guide Alex in his quest to be free of his addiction. The first step is to admit our addictions are too big for us and we need you to free us. Then we need to do the work to recover with your help. Help Alex to take the necessary steps to freedom. I was addicted to pornography also. I have to fight it everyday. The flesh is always after a quick fix. One way I try to put the flesh in line is to fast and pray.I fast a water day only and I get in His presence where ever I can that day. At night get in your closet and just sit with Jesus. He will give you direction. There is power in fasting and praying. You will have victory. I have failed many times, but I get back up and Jesus lifts my head up. He knows your heart, you just have to put your eyes on Him for everything. I am a failure, but In Christ I am in victory. I pray for Jesus to touch you in a way that moves you to hate pornography and the lies the devil tries to make fool you with will be revealed. Lord help your child be a fired up, stand fast, press to the finish line fighter in Christ Jesus.
