Need Prayer for Trouble With Supervisor on Job - I am a 45 year old woman and the sole provider in my household. I have worked as a caseworker at two different welfare offices in Chicago, Illinois since June 2006. This job is very demanding and the clientele vary from positive persons to very negative ones. The problems that I have encountered have been with the unprofessional, hostile, and very negative supervisory staff. Thus being the reason why I have worked at two different offices since June 2006. I am currently having unjustified problems with my current supervisor for the past month or so. Although, I have worked very diligently, productively, independently, quietly and respectfully, she has targeted me to falsely accuse and harass of late. She calls me in the office to magnify the slightest error that I seldom would make and blames and accuses me as though I was a common criminal. She is very belligerent and does not allow you to defend yourself. She then accuses you of being rude and disrespectful to her. She avoids answering any work related questions and does not want me to seek out assistance from any other supervisors. Whenever she does answer a work related question, she deliberately gives me the wrong information. Also, if a client calls the office and gives her false and negative information about my handling of their case, she immediately assumes that I am automatically wrong. The last negative interaction that I had with her was today. Ironically, this supervisor professes to be a Christian outwardly, but her fruits seem to indicate something else. This situation is getting to be more than I can personally bear. I sought the assistance of a union steward, but they offered very little help or advice. Believe it or not, I experienced the same situations with my previous supervisor at other welfare office. I am beginning to believe that being a caseworker is not the right job for me or within God's will, plan and purpose for my life. Please pray that I can receive God's divine intervention, direction and guidance in this matter. Thank you for praying.
