My fiance, Adam, and I broke up about a month ago. We were supposed to get married in October, but the wedding has been canceled. I became very mean towards him and unwilling to change. I was controlling and unforgiving towards him for any mistake he made. I started fights almost every day. He seems to have "snapped" and doesn't want anything to do with me. He does not trust that I will change. Please pray that he will allow himself to trust me and trust that I will change with the help of counseling. Please pray that he will feel the deep connection and love that we share and will forgive me for misleading him in the past and also that he will remember how I have stood by his side through his counseling and anger problems. Give him strength to give the relationship another try. Please pray that God will grace whatever is left of our relationship and that we will be able to work towards repairing our relationship. Please also pray that those who give him advice will encourage him to return to me.
