This is the promise that Jesus told his Apostles they would receive after he ascended, but wait and go to the city of Jeruselem and tarry there until you are endued with power from on high. In Acts two the Apostles were in the upper room in Jeruselem, praying for the promise when they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. People are still receiving the promise today when they obey the gospel...it wasn't just for the Apostles but its for all that will obey...whosoever will is the language of the scriptures. Please find the nearest United Pentecostal Church in your area and there you will find the whole truth preached and the true plan of salvation. Jesus will be there to meet you as you obey his word and he will meet your every need.
