Prayer for a relationship

Please pray for my relationship with Dan. I was in an abusive (verbally and physically abusive)marriage. We are divorced now. God blessed me with Dan and I never realized that the past abuse would effect this relationship. I never dealt with the abuse before and I hurt Dan NEVER meaning to. Now I am in counseling going to church and fixing myself. Dan thinks that I can't change and I am changing daily. Please pray that he softens his heart and gives our love a chance again. My daugther loves him dearly also and we have created an amazing family. Please pray for him to give our relationship another chance.
