RE: prayer - child custody

I ask for prayers for my 15 year old son. At 09 years old my X sought 50/50 custody (long story-due to new wife and not wanting to pay child support, more overnights=less child support) At 12 years old he told us he didn't want to go back to his dads. I however trying to be the better parent mediated the whole thing and sent him back. The same horror stories I have continued to hear from him and now he is 15 years old- In the state of Colorado we do not have an age where a child can voice where they want to live. The day my son called from his dads for me to come get him, my heart was overjoyed. We rec'd NO response to any of our court papers then finally 31 days later his father wants to work this out. I have let our son see for himself what kind of man his father is, and he found out on his own. I have never bad mouthed him or his family. I am trying to remain strong, however I am led to ask for prayers to let my son continued to remain in our home where he is loved and cared for truly!! Bless all of you and thanks so much!!!!

RE: prayer - child custody
Please pray for my son. He and my daughter-in-law are in the beginning stages of a divorce, my daughter-in-law has anger issues and can be abusive, and she also has cheated multiple times. They have 2 small girls both under the age of two who currently live with my son 2 hours away. She initially agreed to him having full custody with her having visitation twice during the week and every other weekend. Now, she is "under pressure" from people and changing her mind and wanting to split them every other week. So far, she has only by choice, seen the girls once a week for a few hours, she will not keep them over night with her unless he stays over as well to take care of them if they get up during the night. None of her family has asked to see the girls at all. I pray for what is best for the girls and I believe it is with my son. I don't say this because he is my son; I say it because he is the best parent for the girls.

RE: prayer - child custody
Guest Wrote:My ex is planning to fight me for custody of our son. I have had
custody of our son for the last 2 years. Please pray that the judge
realizes that the best place for our son is my home and please pray
that the judge reviews all the facts in the case (including reading
the prior court order granting me custody).
Here is more of the story on my ex to give you and idea of what type
of a person she is.
SHe has never payed child support in the last 2 years. Has never
attended any of his appointments (therapy, doctor's, nothing).
She dated a man who physically and sexually abused our son * and
continued to date him until her ex returned from Arkansas).
She claims that because there are 2 parents in her home it would be
better than the 1 in my home (at one point, because of DHS involvement,
her and her "recovering" drug addict husband lost all 4 of her
children (from 3 different fathers)
Please pray for my son and I , pray that we overcome the obstacles
being put in our way and pray that my son is kept safe.
Thank you kindly.

RE: prayer - child custody
I really need prayers right now. My ex-fiance recently split up because all we did was argue and now he is threatening to take custody of our 2 yr old son. I am scared that I might loss him even though everyone says that I won't. I quit my job to stay at home with our son and now he's threatening to take him away from me. I have never been more than a day without him and do not know what I would do if I could only see him periodically.

RE: prayer - child custody
Please provide us with prayer. We are now entering a child custody battle with my fiances ex. She does not treat these children well and they prefer to live with their father. she will not allow it jealousy of our relationship has over come her even though she was the one who cheated on him for several years. She has been trying to come between us for 3 years now and she is using the children as weapons. she sees them as a paycheck since he has to pay child support never does he complain about paying and he still buys the children clothes even though he doesnt have much more money after he pays it. his best interest is his children he loves them dearly, she stalks us harasses us and regardless of whether he has them on a visit or not she will start arguin. she alienates him to the children but the older ones know better. thats why they want to live with their father. she wont allow him visits but she will send them over to our house walking the streets by themselves at night. her vindictive angry and impulsive behavior is not good for them. Please pray for her to realize what she is doing is wrong and pray for us so we can get custody of the children that want to come live with their father.
