Hi, my name is Alison, and I am a victim of domestic violence I escaped my abusive situation in the middle of the night in early august in September I lost my job due to the fact my abusive husband was harassing me at work, as well as harassing my co-workers and clients. At this point in time I have no support from my family, as once I left my abusive husband, I moved in with my mom then my dad returned for a visit from Alaska my dad tortured my sisters and I through out our childhood and upon his arrival for his visit threatened to tie me to the back of his truck and drag me up the street, and once again I escaped under the cover of night and now my parents, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents will no longer speak to me. My father has intimidated entire family into refusing to have any contact with me. So know I am staying with a friend on a temporary basis in a spare room she rents out I just got a new job at the beginning of October but it is only part time and doesn?t provide enough income to pay for my rent, utilities, food, and basic necessities let alone get caught up on back rent and other bills. I am getting phone calls every day from people that I owe money asking when I will pay and have no answer. An my part time job has a schedule consists of split shifts making it difficult to apply for other employment, I am also at risk of being evicted at any time due to the fact I am behind on my rent. At this time I am feeling very defeated, hopeless and at a loss for where to turn next, if you could please pray for me, for gainful employment, affordable housing, healing in my heart, and hope.
