My son (25 yrs. old) descended into the depths of despair, depression and hopelessness the last few months due to many circumstances beyond his control. Did not know where to find help for him.

He has been a good kid but he mixed alcohol, a prescription drug Xanax and possibly other drugs during the course of a week and during 3 days of this week, he committed robbery or attemped to, while holding but not using a machete.

He does not remember much of what happened as he had been blacking out off & on during the substance mixture, but he is extremely sorrowful and repentant.

The urgent request is intervention and favor for him because legally he is on track for prison and could be in there with violent criminals. He has not been violent before or after this and he has a very sweet spirit but the law, the judges, the attorney, and legal system do not know him. Pray for God to also provide the best attorney for him.

Pray for God's favor in his sentencing as far as what the sentence is, how long it is, where it takes place. Favor, favor and miracles.

Pray for my son to be able to continue to develop a strong and real relationship with Jesus Christ/Holy Spirit and be given hope, healing and protection of his body, mind, soul, spirit, emotions and total being.

Pray that any curse brought on him will be broken and he will be set free.

Thank you for your intercessory prayers to save my son from this particurly harsh legal system in the City and State we live in.

Dear Heavenly Father--I lift this young man to You and thank You for preserving his life and for staying his hand from hurting anyone. I ask You, Lord, to draw Him to Yourself, to supernaturally reveal who You are to him and pray that he would desire his Savior, Jesus, above all and find his sure and certain hope and freedom in You. God, I ask You to come speedily to his aid and praise You that You set the captives free and that You are rich in mercy and grace. Thank You that You break the teeth of the lion, that he would devour no more. I praise You, Lord for Your wonderful mercy and compassion and that you are close to the broken hearted. You have heard this mother's prayer, even as You heard Hannah's prayer. I thank You that You will help her in her time of need, that You are her refuge and a strong fortress into which she runs. She will not fear the mighty man, for even the captives of the mighty man will be taken. Praise You, Lord, for you are good and merciful and quick to forgive. I ask You to open doors that no man may close and close doors that no man may open for this young man. I ask to move the heart of the judge and to give him wisdom and your eyes to see exactly what is needed to help this young man change his lifem that he would receive treatment, rather than prison, according to Your will. I pray for the transforming power of your Spirit to take hold of this young man, that he would turn from sin and be healed and set free. I pray that he would be light and salt to his generation and that through him You would set many others free. I praise You and thank You that You are a God of the impossible and a God of Hope, Healing and forgiveness. In Christ's name, Amen. Love, Chris

Father, please help this family and this young man...thank You that mercy triumphs over judgement according to Your Word Lord, and You love mercy...May the courts by Your hand have mercy on him and may You bring him the help needed to live his life for You, Lord, we ask that You draw him near to You, in Jesus name, amen
